A robot heals her Planet by planting trees, helped by her friend, the loudmouth Shuttle, and by an assortment of equally talkative giant lasers, teslas, bot factories, mutagel vats and other madnesseses.

The first release from California-based indie studio Elefantopia, inc., McDROID is an Action Tower Defense with Borderland like graphics.
It will challenge your trigger finger and your wits as you multitask running, shooting, building your base, harvesting, repairing, protecting, upgrading and researching all at the same time.

Defend your shuttle against a variety of crazed alien species as they mutate, corrupt the ground or even turn your crops against you. Load up on weapons, bring your friends (drop-in/drop-out co-op) and take the battle to them. If it gets too crazy, turtle up behind your defensive perimeter and assume direct control of the turrets. Many combinations of strategies make for a highly replayable game.

Unique Features:
- Tree planting and Bliss/Corruption game mechanic: the ground will beam with luscious life or scorch your feet with lava, amplifying friends or foes.
- Modular robot: mount weapons and factories on your back and fight hands-on or plant them on defensive turret mounts and let the turtling begin.
- Mutation: don’t leave strawberries lying around for too long or they rot into Wormlings, various other species mutate and Mutators transform your strawberry plants into lethal bomb trees (sort of barrack for critts).
- Coop: help your friend complete the story missions or play in an arena mode designed for four players.
- Challenge: As you complete each story level you unlock the challenge and nightmare modes.
- Persistence: Your weapons, gold (and unfortunately also any mutated crops) persist through these levels.

Elefantopia, Inc. is an indie run by Laurent Lavigne, a newcomer to the games industry who previously worked on production of a number of Hollywood movies including The Matrix series, Mission Impossible: III and Transformers (http://www.previs.org) and now travels the worlds.
